Spreadsheet Server v24.4 Resolved Issues

The following table contains all the fixes completed in the 24.4 release.

Title

Description

GEXD Formula

Users reported that GEXD was not returning data when importing into Excel, though it worked with the Pervasive DSN. The issue has been resolved, and data from GEXD is now successfully importing into Excel.

JD Edwards Database Configuration

Overriding the Library/Schema/Owner values in the JD Edwards (JDE) system caused other JDE configurations to be unexpectedly updated upon saving. The issue has been resolved, and the problem no longer occurs.

Distribution Manager

The Distribution Manager was only populating data for the first line of entries, leaving subsequent lines empty. The issue has been resolved, and the Distribution Manager is now populating data for all lines as expected.

SAP T-Code

The issue preventing the SAP T-Code with GEXD from running with a user-defined layout has been resolved.

Spreadsheet Server 24.2.1

The issue of slow file loads and overall performance in version 24.2.1 has been resolved. The system now loads files quickly, and overall performance has been confirmed to be satisfactory.

Spreadsheet Server 24.3

  • The system now handles GEXD and GXL formulas referencing parameters from other sheets efficiently, with no noticeable delays.

  • The slow initial processing issue when opening an Excel file with SPS enabled in version 24.3, compared to 20.4.1, has been resolved.

Oracle Databases

The Devart DLL was updated to the latest version once it was released, restoring the connection to Oracle databases.

Data Refresh

  • During a full data refresh, multiple GXLs were skipped, resulting in incomplete data updates. This issue has now been resolved, and the system performs complete data updates without skipping any GXLs. Additionally, a new menu option called Full Recalculate has been added. This option recalculates all formulas in the current workbook along with their dependency trees. Since all dependency trees are rebuilt, this process will take longer than a standard data refresh for the current workbook.

  • Inconsistent GXL results occurred when performing a data refresh on the current workbook, leading to unreliable data updates. The issue has been resolved.

Spreadsheet Server 24.3 for Platform

Spreadsheet Server now operates efficiently on the 24.3 Platform version.
