Dedicated Help Button Now Available |
With the release of Spreadsheet Server v25.2, you now have a dedicated Help button that gives you faster, easier access to the support and resources you need. Here’s what you can do with it:
|
Query Designer and Business View Integration |
In Spreadsheet Server v25.2, you can now upload your existing Query Designer (.edq) files to Angles Professional, where they are automatically converted into Business Views. These views can then be used to build dashboards in Angles, enabling a seamless transition from query creation to web-based visualization. Prerequisites:
Refer to the Export to Angles Business Views topic for step-by-step instructions on using this integration. |
Spreadsheet Server Ribbon Updates |
In Spreadsheet Server v25.2, the ribbon has been redesigned to simplify navigation and bring a more unified experience across the product. You will now find it easier to access key tools, discover related applications, and get help when you need it.
|
ERP-Specific Drill Downs |
This feature introduces the ability to assign Ad Hoc Drill Downs to specific ERP profiles, ensuring that they only appear for the relevant profile they are configured for. For example, if a customer has five ERP systems and corresponding profiles, they can now assign a journal drill down query to just one of those profiles—providing a more tailored and streamlined user experience. Key Details:
Refer to the Assign Ad Hoc Drill Downs to Specific ERP Profiles topic for step-by-step instructions on using the ERP-specific drill downs. |

Spreadsheet Server v25.2 Resolved Issues
Title |
Description |
---|---|
Locate Segment |
HSegments were previously not accessible in Locate Segment or usable in GXL formulas across all profiles. This has been fixed, and HSegments are now fully supported in both areas for all profiles. |
Query Designer |
Query Designer incorrectly added brace characters to database names containing underscores (_). This issue has been resolved, and database names with underscores are now handled correctly without extra braces. Ribbon buttons in Query Designer previously shrank or misaligned when the window was resized to a smaller width. This issue has been fixed, and buttons now scale and reposition correctly for improved usability. Previously, single-word field headings set in Query Designer were incorrectly forced to lowercase (for example, Description became description), while multi-word headings retained their casing. This has been fixed—headings now preserve the intended casing in both Query Designer and Excel outputs, including Drill Down and GEXD. The progress bar in Tools > Update Connections by File > Update Connection was previously hidden behind the interface. It now displays correctly with clear visual feedback. In the new Query Designer UI, “Remove Field from Query” and “Remove Table” popups were appearing on top of unrelated applications like Teams and Excel. This has been corrected, and popups now stay within the Query Designer window context. |
