Spreadsheet Server v25.4.3 Release Notes

This topic describes the new feature enhancement and resolved issues for Spreadsheet Server v25.4.3.

Spreadsheet Server v25.4.3 New Features and Enhancements

Title Description

Administrator Timeout Controls

IT administrators can now password-lock the SQL Timeout, Drill Down Timeout, and Query Timeout fields in Spreadsheet Server, preventing end users from modifying values that can impact transactional system performance. When a timeout field is locked, a lock icon appears next to the field. End users must enter the administrator password to edit the value. The field re-locks automatically after each update.

Prerequisites

  • Spreadsheet Server version 25.4.3 or later

Key Points

  • Applies to SQL Timeout, Drill Down Timeout, and Query Timeout fields
  • Enabled in the Application Configurator under Application Security > Disable Features
  • Lock behavior is consistent across both the Legacy UI and the New UI
  • The administrator password is configured in the Passwords section of the Application Security tab

For configuration steps, refer to the Administrator Timeout Controls topic in the Spreadsheet Server v25 documentation.

The Zip Destination option in Distribution Manager now works correctly without throwing an error.
